About CAMH
CAMH is Canada’s leading mental health hospital and research centre, working across care, research and learning to improve how mental illness and addiction are understood and treated.
When you fundraise your way, you help make that work possible. Your effort supports care for people when they need it, helps advance research that informs better treatment and strengthens how mental health care works across the system. Your reason becomes part of progress that reaches far beyond your own fundraiser.
Get involved
Supporting CAMH means helping people experiencing mental illness and addiction get the care they need. It means fewer barriers, clearer paths to support and more people able to find help when they’re ready.
Behind every fundraiser are people whose lives are touched by mental health care. Support helps someone take a first step toward treatment, continue care through a difficult moment or access support that helps them move forward.
Christina’s story
"What keeps me going is knowing that, with my family, loyal friends, and CAMH, I’m not alone, and that there’s always hope."
Josh’s story
“What I had to do was be honest with myself and deal with my problems. CAMH welcomed me to do that.”
Aislynn’s story
“I want to normalize people accessing the care they need. That is why we are here. We believe in serving the community.”
"I believe mental health is just as important as physical health, so I walked 20km to raise awareness and funds for CAMH. The fundraising website was easy to use and had tools and resources to help me along the way. I was able to exceed my fundraising goal and make an even bigger impact than I hoped!"

Making it their own
People fundraise for mental health for many different reasons. These stories show how individuals took what mattered to them and turned it into action.
Get inspired by what’s possible—and know that you can do the same, in a way that’s all your own.
Kloss2Cross
Jason turned his return to swimming into a powerful tribute. In honour of his late grandfather and a close friend, he took on open-water swims across Lake Ontario, dedicating each kilometre to loved ones and building a wide community of support along the way.
“Through my swims, I’ve seen firsthand how our collective effort can change lives.”
Run for Kash
Run for Kash is a yearly family-led run created to honour Keith Kaschak. By turning remembrance into action, the Kaschak family celebrates Keith’s life while raising funds for mental health and addiction care through CAMH.
“Keith was so much more than his illness.”
Positive Goodness
Reetu Mundi and her daughters Anya and Reya chose to turn a difficult chapter into something positive. Through school-based events, custom t-shirts and a community walk-a-thon, they brought people together around care, resilience and mental health.
“We believe in taking care of our mental health, especially after what we’ve been through.”
Your impact
Every fundraiser matters. Each dollar raised helps people get the mental health care they need, when they need it.
When you fundraise for CAMH, you take action and turn your reason into real, lasting impact.
