You can create a custom tribute page at fundraise.camh.ca by selecting In Memory or In Honour, completing registration and setting up your page. It only takes a few minutes to get started.

An In Memory page is created to honour someone who has passed away. An In Honour page celebrates a person or moment worth recognizing—whether that's someone in your life marking a milestone, a recovery, a graduation or any meaningful moment, or a milestone or achievement in your own life.

A tribute page is a fundraising page that allows you to honour a meaningful person, milestone or memory while inviting family and friends to give to CAMH in someone's name or honour. Unlike a direct donation page, your tribute page creates a shared space where others can give in support of what matters to you.

No. Creating a tribute page is free.

Yes. Once your page is live, you can share it with family, friends and your community. Anyone can visit your page and make a gift in the person's name or honour.

Once your page is set up, you can share it by email, text or social media. Your page includes a shareable link you can send to anyone you want to invite to give.

Yes. You can personalize your page with photos, a description and updates. Family and friends can also leave messages and memories directly on the page.

CAMH Foundation does not accept cash donations, and we advise that you do not mail cash to our office. 

Apart from submitting donations online via your fundraising page, donations can be sent in a variety of ways including cheques and wire transfer.

Cheques

• You can mail a cheque made out to CAMH Foundation to the address noted below.
• You can also visit us in person. Feel free to stop by our office at the address noted below on Mondays to Fridays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
• Along with the cheque, please provide the donor’s name and mailing address to help us with processing and sending the receipt. Please also share the name of the fundraiser and/or fundraising event so we can note which fundraiser the donation is for.

Wire Transfer

Please call (416) 979-6909 or contact us for our wire transfer details.

After sending your gift, please call or email us to send the following information that will help us process your gift and donation receipt:

1. Your name
2. Your address
3. The date CAMH Foundation should expect your wire transfer
4. The dollar amount
5. The sending organization (if someone else is sending the transfer on your behalf)
6. The name of the fundraiser and/or fundraising event the donation is for

Please email tribute@camh.ca and our team will help update your page to reflect any offline donations received.

For online donations, tax receipts are sent immediately to the donor's email. For mailed donations, tax receipts are issued within two weeks from the date they reach our office and mailed to the donor's address.

You can thank your donors through the fundraising portal's email function. Use our templates to send a thank you message, or rewrite them in your own words.
