Run for Riley

In memory of the chaotic ball of joy and passion that was Riley, I am fundraising this year by doing the least enjoyable thing that a short asthmatic like him would ever want to do: run.

For those that know him; we know how he cared and stood up for the downtrodden, that he attacked every project with a fiery passion and love of learning, that there was so much good and potential that was taken away from the world sooner than he deserved.
For those that don't; well fuck sorry, words won't do him justice.

I've decided to fundraise for an organization that I know Riley would have approved of, The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, as my way of honoring and paying tribute to an amazing friend and partner.

In combating my own mental health struggles I have decided to build up my running endurance across several races in his memory:
Barrie Honda Waterfront 10km on June 7 2026
Ottawa Fall Colours Run Half Marathon on October 10 2026
Ottawa Tamarack Marathon on May 24 2027
