Hiking for Healing - ROUND TWO

By Niamh Sullivan

I almost died in March of 2024 after attempting to take my own life. In August of 2024, I completed a solo thru-hike of Newfoundland’s 336km East Coast Trail, raising $8000 for CAMH. This August, I’d like to do it again. If you want to help change the future of mental health in Canada, please consider donating - any amount helps!

Niamh, I have followed your story and page for years. I appreciate the work and effort you put in for fundraising for mental health care, it is quite simply nothing short of inspirational. I myself been on my own journey as of late and have found comfort and solace in literature and poetry— that's not to mention the fire you have within you to show everyone how to pick themselves back up again. I do hope you heal quickly and feel better soon after your recent hospital visit. "I will always be on the side of those who have nothing and who are not even allowed to enjoy the nothing they have in peace." -Frederico Garcia Lorca Best wishes and Godspeed Matthew
